About ISEP

The Institute of Sustainability and Environmental Professionals (ISEP) is an international professional membership body dedicated to advancing environmental management and sustainability practices.

Formerly known as the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA), the organisation adopted the ISEP name in 2025 to reflect its broader focus on sustainability, environmental responsibility and positive change.

ISEP supports individuals and organisations in developing the knowledge and professional competencies needed to address environmental challenges, improve sustainability performance and promote responsible business practices.

Its training programmes help learners understand environmental management systems, environmental responsibilities, sustainability principles and the practical steps organisations can take to minimise their environmental impact.

Available ISEP courses

1. Introduction to Environmental Management Systems

2. Foundation Certificate in Environmental Management
